React Native Developer (Remote, Contract)

AppSagar Labs is a Chennai-based product studio building consumer apps for regional-language audiences. We need a React Native developer on a 9-month contract, fully remote, to ship two client apps currently in mid-development.

What you will do

• Build and polish React Native screens for Android and iOS from finalised designs
• Integrate REST APIs, push notifications and in-app payment flows
• Profile and fix jank on low-end Android devices common among our users
• Set up release builds and manage Play Store and App Store submissions
• Coordinate async with the Chennai design team over Slack and weekly calls

Requirements

• 2+ years of React Native experience with at least one published app
• Strong grasp of navigation, state management and native module basics
• Experience testing on low-RAM Android devices
• Reliable home internet and overlap with IST working hours
