Primary School Teacher

Vidyankur Public School is a CBSE-affiliated school in Anna Nagar, Chennai, with classes from KG to 10. We are hiring a primary teacher for Classes 1-3 to handle English and EVS from the coming term.

What you will do

• Teach English and EVS to Classes 1-3 using activity-based methods
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and term assessments per CBSE guidelines
• Maintain student progress records and share monthly updates with parents
• Manage classroom discipline with positive reinforcement practices
• Contribute to annual day, sports day and reading week activities

Requirements

• Graduate with D.El.Ed or B.Ed
• 1-3 years of primary teaching experience preferred
• Fluent English; Tamil helpful for parent communication
• Comfortable using smart boards and school ERP for attendance
